About Me

My own adult journey began in the field of writing and poetry and then copywriting.  After years of supervising people in corporate and non-profit settings, as well as free-lancing, I began to realize that I was more interested in individual co-workers stories than in writing strategic reports, selling products or getting my supervisees to do the same.  I went on to get my Masters in Social Work and worked for several social service organizations, including the New York City Youthline, Legal Aid and the American Red Cross.  I also continued my education, earning credentials and certificates in trauma work, internal family systems and other issues, which I continue to pursue.  In addition, I enjoy teaching, training and consulting and have written articles on creativity and psychoanalysis.
